On behalf of all fan fiction authors and writers everywhere, we would like to say that we should have the rights to post our fan fiction!
The first Amendment: Freedom of Religion, Press, and Expression states,
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or PROHIBITING THE FREE EXCERCISE THEREOF; or abridging the FREEDOM OF SPEECH, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress (To set right, remedy or rectify) of grievances."
We should be able to voice and express our creativity in literature. Since we are called "Writers" the way we express ourselves is through WRITING and the way we voice ourselves is through the ability, freedom, and availability to post or share our writings with other people on Fan Fiction sites.
It is an outrage and an disappointment that many people are in the world trying to force us to stop writing and posting. We are NOT out to hurt anyone! Nor are we out to make a profit!
We. Want. To. WRITE. And. POST.
We are AMERICAN CITIZENS who are backed by the First Amendment of the Constitution!
LET US HAVE OUR FREEDOM!!
