XBox offline profile to LIVE! profile linking needed

We, The Undersigned, hereby petition Microsoft Corporation (here known as "Microsoft") to amend the XBox 360 (here known as "XBox") and the recently released "New XBox Experience" (here known as "NXE") and the "XBox LIVE" user service to include a mechanism, or mechanisms, to support the following:

1. The ability to link an XBox offline profile with an existing XBox LIVE! profile.
2. The ability to upgrade an existing Xbox offline profile to create a new XBox LIVE! profile.
3. The ability to have a different local profile name and XBox LIVE! account name, but linked through a common key value.

Whereas:

1. Microsoft did not engineer the XBox, XBox LIVE!, or NXE to notify the user when joining the XBox LIVE! service that their offline profile would not be linked to their XBox LIVE! profile, and
2. Microsoft has not provided a mechanism for linking an offline profile to an XBox LIVE! profile for users who have already joined the XBox LIVE! service without forfeiting their existing Xbox LIVE! subscription, and
3. The user stands to lose all previous offline gameplay achievements, OR to forfeit the remainder of their XBox LIVE! Subscription to achieve merged profiles, and
4. Microsoft charges the user for two name changes in their XBox LIVE! profile in order to make this change.

We, The Undersigned, submit that Microsoft is complacent in their attempts to meet user requests for functionality, and wrongfully charges for services that stem from an underlying design flaw in the interaction of the XBox, NXE, and XBox LIVE!, and we request action in the aforementioned areas to resolve.
