Abolish Survivor at Literotica

We, the writers (and readers) of Literotica, would like to make a plea to management (i.e. Manu and Laurel) to abolish the Survivor Contest, starting January 1, 2009. We believe the following:
1. Interest has waned in this contest in both readers and writers.
2. It has turned from a fun-loving, good-hearted contest into a back-stabbing and vicious one, poisoning the well at Literotica.
3. The stories being produced are short on quality (and obviously just short - often just the 750 word minimum), which brings down the reputation of the site.
4. It has outlived its usefulness.
