Animals Can't Fight for Their Rights but You Can!

What comes to your mind when you hear these words: hunting, chicken, KFC, Hardees, Beef, Pork? You probably think a ton of different things. Maybe you think about how good they taste, or maybe that you should go shopping.

Did you ever stop to think that all of the above is wrong. Let's start with KFC. There are over 700 million chickens raised each year for KFC. They are crammed by the tens of thousands into sheds that stink of ammonia fumes from accumulated waste; they are given barely even room to move (each bird lives in the amount of space equivalent to a standard sheet of paper). They routinely suffer broken bones from being bred to be top heavy, from callous handling (workers roughly grab birds by their legs and stuff them into crates) and from being shackled upside down at slaughterhouses. Chickens are often still fully conscious as their throats are cut or when they are dumped into tanks of scalding hot water to remove their feathers. When they are killed, chickens are still babies, not yet two months old, out of a natural life span of 10-15 years. When baby chicks are born, they have their beaks cut off with a hot knife so they wont peck each other to death in the cages they sit in with 10 or more other chickens. This enables the chicks to eat easily and they end up starving to death.

Horrible isnt it. KFC isnt the only people who treat animals wrong. I read not to long ago about a certain cow being delivered to a slaughter house. She was the last one in the truck and she wouldnt move, so handlers tried to pull her out with a hook. When that didnt work, they started kicking her and beathing her, but yet she still didnt move. They then tied a rope around her neck and the other end to a tree and drove the truck away from the tree landing the cow on the ground who then suffered 2 broken legs and a broken pelvis. The cow layed out in the hot sun for hours on end with no water and not being able to move. Soon, the handlers let dogs out and they were attacking the defensles cow.

Everything they did was WRONG. The handlers of animals like this are always saying, "We will treat them better before we kill them." What kind of bull crap is that. Would you agree to let someone kill you if they promised to treat you good before they did it. No i didnt think so, so why should we do it to these animals.

Did you know that before seaworld opened, over 25 orca whales died while in care of seaworld staff. All animals deserve to be free, not used for our entertainment. Do they use you for entertainment? Thats what i thought
We have at pull together and do something about these horrible acts. People it is not that hard. Sign the petition and it will be sent off to animal rights centers everywhere, including PETA, an organization that fights for animal rights. Sign this and not only will you be doing yourself a favor, but you will also be saving our animals.
