Wilkins Township Commissioner Joe Costa had conversations with various officials associated with Kuhn's Market Corp. concerning their facilities and shopping center. Mr. Costa threatened to lead a boycott against the Beulah Road Shopping Center because of political signs placed in several businesses. He believes the signs call the current commissioners "corrupt" according to statements made at the 4/13/2009 Commissioner's Meeting.
If his threatened boycott is successful, the result would mean the possible closing of businesses in the shopping center, loss of jobs, loss of revenue to the township, and reduction in township services.
By signing this petition, we are stating that we refuse to support Mr. Costa's boycott and will continue to patronize the businesses and owners of the Buelah Road Shopping Center.
