This petition's cause is to gather support to bring back Smooth Jazz 105.9 (WJZW) after it was reformatted by Citadel Broadcasting on Friday, February 29th 2008. The goal is to get enough signatures to show Citadel that people liked the station and that the public wants it back. This petition will be sent to Citadel as soon as a commanding number of signatures is reached (enough to be taken seriously by Citadel).

Please bring back Smooth Jazz 105.9 to the Washington, DC area. I listened to it day and night and it was a big stress reliever for me. There is no other station like it on the radio in the Washington, DC area.
