CCISD Standardized Dress Code

We, as two students of the graduating class of 2005 at King High School represent the opinions of all those who sign, formally protest against the dress code that the Corpus Christi School Board has passed and wishes to commence on August 12, 2004 for the 2004-2005 school year. We believe that although guidelines and restrictions are needed in any school, high school students should be allowed the freedom to dress in a manner of his/her liking, within reason. We wish for the School Board to leave the dress code as it was the previous year. Any of those who sign this petition, please respect our wishes to keep this petition serious and professional. i.e., NO fraudulent signatures. Thank you.

Uniforms are very hot and uncomfortable. I believe we are old enough that we shouldnt need to wear them. I also think that the whole school shouldnt have to suffer for those few dumb people that cant understand rules.
