Change the Vacation Policy

By signing this petition we affirm that Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. should revise their new vacation policy (effective 1/10/2009) for Salary-Plus associates.

Old Policy:
Associates log in 10 hours of vacation into TMS and only 8 hours is deducted from their vacation pool; Old policy did not apply to full-salaried employees. (unfair to the company)

New Policy:
Associates must log in 8 hours of vacation into TMS and only get paid for 8 hours, but are required to work 10 hour days to meet the Salary-Plus amount they are slated for, therefore shorting associates on pay; new policy does not apply to full-salaried associates. (unfair to Salary-Plus associates)

Proposed policy that is fair to the company and its Salary-Plus Associates:
If employees are required to work 10 hour days, deduct 10 hours of vacation from our earned vacation pool.

Our competition doesn't even follow a compensation policy like this.
We feel with open communication from both sides this matter can be resolved.
