In the past, "E! True Hollywood Story" has done incredibly reveling shows about "Young Hollywood" artists; for example, Aaliyah, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Cory Haim. These episodes took an in-depth look at each artists careers, as well as their personal struggles.
Arguably one of "Young Hollywoods" most popular artists was Jonathan Brandis. When he filmed movies, such as "Ladybugs" and "Sidekicks", he was often featured in magazines aimed towards the younger audiences. His role as Lucas in "SeaQuest DSV" also made his name known to Science Fiction fans of all ages. Despite struggling to get roles after "SeaQuest DSV" was cancelled, he always had a legion of faithful fans.
"Young Hollywood" suffered a tremendous loss when Jonathan Brandis took his life at the age of 27. It is a void that some argue cannot easily be filled. However, a lot can be learned by looking at Jonathans life, career, and death.
We ask that you consider creating an "E! True Hollywood Story" episode that will take an in-depth look at the career, and life, of Jonathan Brandis. We believe that "E! True Hollywood Story" will take a balanced look at his life, so that others learn from Jonathan Brandis life experiences, and from his tragic death.
