Illinois laws need to change for the Best Interest of all Children

Hello there. My name is Robert Flick and I am looking for support from all in fighting this battle that has cost me Thousands of Dollars. My soon to be ex-wife is in Prison in Illinois Correctional Department serving a 40 year Sentence for First degree murder and concealment of a murder of her own child. She is now seeking visits with our 3-year-old daughter that has no clue of what is going on now. She is stripped searched when she was told to go at an early age of 2 and that upset me more to watch her go through that trauma.
During those 9 visits since her incarceration I refused to go back to the prison for my daughters sake and the safety too. She does not call her Mommy, but by her first name only and that was not my doings. She has stated that she is afraid to go there, not just to Psychiatrist, but her lawyer, for the fear that they may lock her and her Daddy in a cage too. Her lawyer told me in August that he saw nothing wrong with visits with the mother or the Prison. The judge over the case, which claimed the case, has slipped under his radar and thinks a parent no matter what shall have reasonable visitation rights no matter what the crime may be and no matter if they are locked up for killing there own child.
I feel that she has put one child at risk already by her bare hands. A mother that can give birth and then turn around and strangle this defenseless child and then throw it in a pond and deny it to this day even after DNA tests and all have been cleared. She has never showed any remorse, but blamed it on her friends and family members instead of taking the responsibility herself. Now here we go with my daughter that is now 3 and feeling that she needs to build a bond with her. She had no remorse for this male child and was afraid that it would get more attention from her family and forget her. My daughters Life, Safety, Mental and Physical health are now in jeopardy.
What if I am forced to take my daughter through the courts due to language in the Illinois in our upcoming battle? What if my daughter is harmed by her Mentally or Physically by the visits again? What if she decides to try to end her life to cause hurt and pain to me? What does she get out of it? Who would be liable?
Please help me beat this law and help the Congressman and Woman and all law makers make a bill in Illinois and all over focused on people that harm a child lose those rights to be a parent and visits with a child under the age of 18. We tend to forget that the Lawmakers make it hard for Sex offenders to have any contact with a minor under the age of 18, which includes visits in a prison too. What is the difference with murder of your own child on purpose?
Please place yourself in my shoes as a Mother, Father, Grandparent or a caring person and reach deep down inside and tell me how you would feel if your child or grandchild was in the same shoes with the mother or father. Should a child be used as a pawn in any case and would you want a 3 year old that is in her growing stage talking about prisons or being violated with strip searches. I can maybe see when she gets older and wants too, but to force a child at this age or have the courts agree to it is something that should not be done.
I walked to the State Capitol in Illinois on August 26th, for help and plan on walking right back into the Capitol in November to serve this petition with all your signatures to help make a law for other people and our children to never have to be placed in the arms of a person that has killed a relative or sibling and causing harm ever again to a member of that family. The Justice system slaps us in the face when it comes to prisoners getting treatment. They sometimes get more rights then us as taxpayers. So, what the law states is that it is ok to kill your child and still be a parent with visitation rights, but if you are charged with a sex offense no visits. We all need to pull together and I am also looking for your help in making this bill come to a true meaning and saying that it is not ok, for all of us.
So, please help me by signing this bill and being a support to my daughter and help her and I walk this petition to the Illinois State Capitol and have them make a law to place our childrens future at ease. I can not fight this battle alone like I have for the past 3 years and now I am asking and extending it out to all people to help me and my daughter.
