Internet Providers not providins Mac users correct support

Subject: Internet Providers not providing Apple Macintosh Users with tech support.

Dear Ombudsman

This petition is designed to make Australian ISPs (Internet Service Providers) support Macintosh computers via Technical support and to supply us with correct software and to allow us to use the internet via More popular companies with less hassle, these companies tend to use our computers in their advertisements but dont support them!

When people are calling technical support via most Australian ISPs to ask a question to help them connect to the net they either say We dont support Macs or some other evil comment which would upset most people and then have to use a Windows based PC which they havent got and would have to fork out an extra $1500 for one. Usually we have to go to a Mac based forum to get help with setting up a connection.



These companies should have all staff trained to work with Mac and PC. Not everyone likes Microsoft and ISPs should accept that. I am pushing this towards Optus Australia which they answered people in a nasty voice when they said they dont support Macs.

Many companies use Macs in their advertisements but why cant they support them in the internet company?

Therefore I write this petition to send to the Australian Ombudsman to see if he can solve this issue..
