A brief piece of history;
Joe is from England, Julie is from France. They have been dating for 18months. They have their problems in that they don't get to see each other enough. However, the biggest problem is Julie's parents, who think that Joe isn't good enough for their daughter, to the point where they FORBID the relationship. Fact File: Julie is 20yrs old, Joe is 19... both are adults.
Does a daughter have the right to choose who she dates?
We, the undersigned believe that these two people SHOULD be together, and that nobody in the world should stop them, if they cannot make their long distance relationship work, that is something they should be allowed to discover for themselves. We see they have potential problems, and those wishing to stand in their way, but we pledge to do our part to make their relationship work, from small words, to big actions.
