The media is quick to put a black male athlete out to dry. A Detroit fan physically attacked him by throwing an object at him while he was laying on the scorers table to keep out of harm with Ben Wallace. Players go through intense verbal abuse with fans and cannot act on it, but the fan crossed the line when he physically assaulted him.
Suspended for the rest of the season is absurd. This is for one insuring the Pistons win the East by knocking out their biggest competition by removing their 3 best players. You cannot let fans win games for the team like this. I say Ben Wallace should be suspended for longer, Detroit draft picks maybe taken or even some of the home games for the Pistons to become exhibition. The fans that started this should be held responsible and the Pistons arena's lack of security should also be held accountable.

This is so wrong for players to be assaulted by fans then get suspended for protecting themselves. David Stern needs to put himself in a Black players position in this society today.

The suspensions are rediculous and I think I am done with the NBA and I am not even a Pacers fan.
