Michael Cole Attitude Adjustment

We, the WWE Universe, are fed up with the consistent negative attitude that the announcer, Michael Cole, has exuded as of late. Too many times has he belittled the WWE Divas, insulting their weight, wrestling skills and persona. It is a tale that has echoed through the ages of any and all entertainment, but also in society as a whole. The WWE has prided itself on it's PG rating and has on the most part been true to it. However, Michael Cole referring to WWE Diva Natalya as "hefty" is not an example I would personally feel is good for children, especially little girls to hear. It is telling them it is okay for someone to say things like this to people and that is not what the WWE would intend to tell children at all. His constant harsh criticisms of the Divas is disheartening, as the have been fighting to hold their own in the ring, since the bikini matches and pillow fights have caused them to learn more in-ring ability.

For far too long has his obsessive compulsive behaviour towards the Miz been an ear sore. I do not judge people in such a way and if it be Michael Cole's preference than so be it, however it is to the point where his actions are not only contradictory to his words, but where the stories are becoming boring and unbearable to watch. February 14, 2011 it looked like he actually struck Josh Mathews in the face, for not "giving the proper respect" to the Miz. Regardless if the situation was scripted in or not, again this is telling children especially that these kinds of actions are okay.

Where most would want him flat out fired, we offer an alternative, wherein Michael can still keep his job and entertain the WWE Universe and still maintain the "heel" mentality. The solution is this: Tone it down. I am certain this is not the only time the WWE has heard about his actions and words being insulting or demeaning, however, I feel it is a duty to state the obvious, that being that Michael Cole is not a terrible announcer. He is on his way to being as legendary as Jerry Lawler himself, HOWEVER, his silly antics and over bearing attitude is making him more out to be an egotistical, arrogant, sexist man, who will find himself under more fire than some before him. Michael Cole will be a good "bad guy" announcer, just ask him to adjust his horribly negative attitude just a little bit.
