We call upon Major League Baseball to strip Jose Canseco of the 1998 AL MVP award on the grounds of behavior detrimental to baseball, on the grounds that his accomplishments were achieved by cheating via performance enhancing drugs, and on the grounds of his blatant disregard for legitimate competitiveness.
We call upon Major League Baseball to rightfully and retroactively name fomer Boston Red Sox left-fielder MIKE GREENWELL as the 1988 AMERICAN LEAGUE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.
