Please Stop Construction of a Refinery on an ancient pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela, on Via de la Plata, some 7.5km south of town of Villafranca de los Barros, about 43 km south of Merida, Extramadura, Spain!
The beautiful landscape of hundreds of years old olive trees, a universal symbol of peace, will be cut, old olive press homes - instead of being restored and used for ever-growing popular route of Via de la Plata - will be demolished, the tourist lure of the area will be diminished, and many more reasons can be found for NOT BUILDING THAT REFINERY EXACTLY THERE!
