College football has more positive effects on a University than just an entertaining game to watch. College football creates a reason to live on campus, creates school pride, and increases notoriety for a university.
Unfortunately, at Oakland University, we do not have a varsity football program, but we are now proposing that our University reconsiders their current view on a football program.
A football program solves many of the problems at our school and will serve as an investment that will continue to help the school for years to come. In signing this, I believe that a football program will be beneficial to Oakland University.
