Recently due to the new internet sites ticket prices to affordable shows have now skyrocketed off the roof. Sites such as stubhub have scalpers snatching up numerous tickets at retail value only to resell them for three or more times their worth. Stubhub feels if the fans are true fans they shouldn't mind paying that amount, however why should non-true fans be allowed to make a profit off consumers. If the music industry had made a profit from such acts than it wouldn't be as disagreeable, however only scalpers make profits since they gained the power to legally scalp tickets off sites. We feel ticket prices should not be over face value and that any online site that does so should be outlawed or reformed into a ticket reseller that charges face value. Should no action be taken we the undersigned will boycott such acts.
