Peaceful Boycott of the Delhi CWG, 2010

I, today, officially boycott the games and want everyone who is visiting India to attend and participate in these games to know that our country preferred to spend this money on "temporary" infrastructure to please all of you at the cost of its own people. We still get stuck in terrible traffic jams when it rains, our children still go to schools that have broken windows and no toilets, our drains get clogged with bare minimum rains, our roads break away the the thought of rain, builders/bureaucrats/politicians make money at the slightest opportunity they get while allotting tenders to improve the taxpayers standard of living..
So please, don't cocoon yourself to the "world-class" infrastructure made exclusively for you...step out..see what the government has not done on the pretext of organizing the CWG, which too have embarrassed us! The stadiums leak, the cyclist fall, water accumulates in within the stadium premises, machines are leased for 10 times the actual price..and so on...
Delhi is a great city and we wholeheartedly welcome everyone who will be visiting. I do hope you have a pleasurable stay and enjoy everything that the city has to offer- but at the same time, witness the games without the political curtains hiding the truth.
P.S: Any guesses on how much of the 28,000 crore has ACTUALLY been spent on infrastructure? My guess- about 20\%!
