Dear Barnes and Noble,
I heard about the incident at your Collierville, TN store and I understand that throughout the nation you are failing to mainstream gay pornography as efficiently as you might, by putting it in prominent places in your store and in the children's section.
I am adding my name to this petition to let you know how offended I am that your company has chosen to not place this material within view and reach of children. It is a violation of common sense and the public trust for an inclusive, alternative family bookstore that has a huge children's department to not place explicit and copiously illustrated gay pornography on every free shelf. This includes hot girl-on-girl action and bondage material.
Therefore, unless and until Barnes and Noble starts marketing this material more aggressively, or at the very least until it removes all materials that depict people in brazen states of being fully clothed, I will no longer be shopping for pornography at any of your stores. I will also bring your irresponsible business practices to the attention of my family and friends and ask them to also stop patronizing your stores until you do the responsible thing.
