Piercings At The Workplace

This is a petition against employees being forced to remove or cover their piercings at their place of work. Piercings do not inhibit an employees ability to do their job, and there is no valid reason why they must be removed. Forcing your employees to do so is discrimination. By telling your employees that 'wearing piercings gives the store a bad image', the employer is re-inforcing a negative and untrue stereotype. This is no different than racism or sexism simply because there is no valid reason for this type of rule.

This is especially ridiculous at a fast food restaurant in Osbourne Village. Let them know that they are wrong, and that YOU, as the customer, don't find piercings offensive or frightening.
