A group of people from the website (www.throw-in.com), among other places, believe your decision not to include a pyramid system in Scottish Football is very ill-advised. Our main reason for thinking this, is the fact, that the Spartans have prospered in cup competitions for the past 2 seasons, whilst down at the bottom of Division 3, East Stirling have been of an extremely poor standard for some time now and feel that other junior and semi-professional are being ignored. We propose that the SFA look into the possibility of a pyramid system which is common place in so many other countries. Scotland as a nation have came on leaps and bounds since the appointment of Walter Smith and we feel that a proper league system will benefit the Scottish game from the grass roots level upwards. Such a system would make the leagues more competitive and see the game develop much more.
Please take this into consideration as we believe this would bring on the Scottish game.
