For the past two seasons Linebacker Julian Peterson has proved he is the most versatile player on the defensive side of the ball, and one of the top 5 linebackers in the league. It is time for the 49ers to start showing that they are committed to winning, and one of the first steps in that process to re-sign Julian Peterson. 49er fans do not want to wait until the offseason for a franchise tag, or having other teams compete for Peterson's services.
