Remember Our Veterans before Christmas

I believe that in this day and age, we have lost sight of our fallen heros/heroines. Our veterans fought and to this day still fight for our freedom and for the generations to come. I want to remember the fallen before I even think about Christmas and all the entails. This petition is to keep stores from putting up Christmas decorations or advertising before November 11th, Remembrance Day. More and more I have seen less people wearing poppies and more people wearing santa hats and christmas sweaters. Sure people can post 'I remember' on their facebook walls but does that really mean we do? I guarantee most people now a days don't remember November 11th unless it is on the news, on facebook, or on their phone calendars. We seem to have lost track of the lives lost for presents and eggnog, crazy malls and mistletoe. If you agree with me and believe that our soldiers should be remembered before a Christmas tree, sign this petition so we can start a new chapter for the years to come. Lets educate our children and our childrens children on why they live in a free country, and are proud to call it home.
