Demon Drop has been around at Cedar Point since 1983, before most of today's rider-favorites were even built. To this day, it has served thrill-seeker after thrill-seeker with its intense 131 foot, 55 mile an hour drop, and has proven over the years to be an excellent addition to Cedar Point's World-class collection of rides.
Unfortunately, after 22 years of faithful operation, Cedar Point is attempting to sell Demon Drop. A measly $250,000 and we will be robbed of what we consider to be a Cedar Point classic. Not only is it a part of the ever-developing skyline of the park, but it is one of the first and last things that many people visiting the park see or ride, making it a memorable part of any trip. Frankly, without Demon Drop, a visit to Cedar Point would not be quite the same. We, as supporters of this ride, request that it not be sold, but rather kept in operation for generations of thrill-seekers to come.

This is a classic drop ride that is always a favorite. There are not many of these around and it makes the park special. With Blue Streak, Disaster Transport, and Demon Drop. Those rides make the park have that special classic feel wich many people enjoy.
