All dog lovers know, Alberta is a "BULLY BREED" FRIENDLY province! Alot of us move here, so our dog can be more accepted in the community, and at dog parks, etc. We also all know, any dog can be vicious, not just a "Bully Breed", it is all based upon how they are trained to act. My fiancee and I moved to Alberta a year ago, so that our dog could have more freedom, and he loves it! Over the past year though, we have struggled to find a better place for our family to live, because of "BREED RESTRCTINOS" at most rental agencies in EDMONTON, ALBERTA! Now its funny they save "breed restrictions" when the only breeds being restricted are "BULLY BREEDS". These restrctions are strictly based on narrow minded people, who have not accepted the fact they are good dogs, and taken into consideration that we live in a "Bully friendly" province. I am making this petition to STOP THE DISCRIMNATION AGAINST BULLY BREED DOGS!
WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO LIVE IN A GOOD HOME, OR COMMUNITY, WITH OUR LOVING PETS!
WE SHOULD NOT BE LEFT, TO GET CRAPPY APARTMENTS BECAUSE OF A MEMBER IN OUR FAMILY!
THESE RENTAL AGENCIES DONT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST RACES, OR RELIGIONS, BUT OUR DOGS! OUR FRIENDLY DOGS!
