Avril Madden, a deaf girl, was on TV3 on the 16th of February 2011. She talked about her deafness and how there were barriers. She had many deaf friends who wanted to watch the show but couldn't because there were no subtitles provided which was ridiculous.
I am petitioning to have the subtitles on the Irish channel, TV3.
