Take a stand against George W. Bush

President George W. Bush has done many things since being in office. It all started when he stole the first election, with the "mis-haps" in Florida.

Next there was proof that George W. Bush, and others at the White House had been warned about the Terrorists of September 11th, and they did nothing. Thousands of people lost their lives, their loved ones, not to even mention the loss of a national land mark. Many people, myself included, believe that he intentionally ignored these warnings, simply so that he could send the American troops into Iraq and have the war his Father always wanted. There were many innocent people lost, and I do not harbor any ill feelings against the soldiers who went across the seas to fight, they were doing their patriotic duty, however President George W. Bush used them like pawns in a chess game.

Now we're faced with even more heartache. The gas prices rising, it makes no sense to me. In the 1970's everyone began recyciling so that the issues of a gas shortage would never come up again. Barrels of gas were placed within the safe perserve. So why is it that our gas prices are reaching well into the $3.00 and up?

The last straw came about with Hurricane Katrina and her desimation of New Orleans, and parts of Mississippi. We watch the news and see the suffering, the death, the heart-wrenching scenes. Not only is President George W. Bush not doing enough to help, but the help that is coming from the government is not the most well thought out of plans. Dropping cases of water from helicopters only to have them burst open against sidewalks, or get washed away in the flooding waters. The only reason as many people who have survived, have survived is thanks to the American Citizens who are standing up for one another. Do you see Bush doing anything directly to try and help his own country men? A perfect example is yesterday, Sean Penn, well known actor was actually down in New Orleans. He rode within a boat, helping to save people. And when he came across a woman in the waters, he dove in and saved her. That coming from just another American citizen. How is it, that our Government has plenty of money to ship off to the country they bombed? Plenty of money to send over to help the tsunami victims of another country- but they don't have enough money, intelligence, or action to help their own? Because President George W. Bush is not at all qualified to be a political leader.
