The Credenhill to Stretton Sugwas road bend

Recently, a young girl who was running got hit by a car on this road - And still, Herefordshire Council will NOT do as the public request and build a sidewalk and lower the speed limit.
The purpose of this petition is to show the council how many people want the danger of this strip of road removed, by building a pavement on one side of the road and reducing the speed limit from the MASSIVE 40 mile per hour, to a safer 10 mph.
The new Roman Road built near this bend has a cycle path stretching 3 miles, which leads directly to a local Primary School and a High School. A cycle path on this bend would allow parents to feel safer about allowing their kids to ride their bikes or walk to school.
This should not affect drivers either - The bend is only about 50 metres in length. After the lowered speed limit, drivers would be allowed to speed up to 30 (Towards Credenhill) or 40 (Towards Stretton Sugwas) mph, depending on which way they're heading.
Please sign this online petition to prevent another accident happening on that road - And making it safer for children to ride their bikes to school.
Thank You.
