Tougher Immigration Laws For Canada

It's about time that some changes are made in the requirements to immigrate to Canada. When applying for immigration, there are several requirements that are in place but don't seem to be followed. One requirement states that "You must have an understanding of Canadas history, values, institutions and symbols." But the immigrants that I see for the most part have no respect for the way we live. They bring their rude, pushy attitudes and expect us all to put up with it.
Another requirement states that "You need to have adequate knowledge of one of the two official languages English or French. You must know enough English or French to understand other people and for them to understand you." This is also clearly not enforced. There are many immigrants who do not understand either.
In addition, it's just way too easy to get into Canada. Anyone can "sponsor" their family from another country and they are instantly accepted. This is ridiculous. One of the requirements is that the sponsor family is financially responsible for the immigrating family. But I know many instances where that is not true and we, the taxpayers end up supporting them.
