The 2007 BET Awards have been utterly cruel in their nominations this year! Jennifer Hudson is nominated for Best new Artist and Female R&B without any album that was released. If that's the case then many other artist should've got the same treatment! I can understand her Best actress nomination which she will more than likely win but not these other two. Her nominations should go to people who actually released albums last year like Monica, Kelis, or even Letoya Luckett because we all know she deserves it! And her new artist nod should go to Cherish or somebody. Let's not even get started on Beyonce with her many nominations and her videos never stay on the countdown so how could she be nominated for Viewers CHoice(in order to be nominated your video had to be in the #1 spot for months) and her videos stay on for less than a week and go no higher than number 7. This is not to bash Jennifer Hudson or Beyonce,it is about BET being fair and giving nominations to people who deserve them and not playing favortism! Stand up for whats right and sign this petition to get the right people in their categories!
