A Sequel to 9 to 5 the SMASH 80s hit
Actress Jane Fonda says executives at 20th Century Fox are preventing her from reuniting with Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin for a sequel to their smash hit 9 To 5. Jane Fonda and her co-stars are ready and willing to shoot a follow-up to the 1980 classic, but the studio thus far has refused to allow them to do so. Times have changed so much and women face such different issues now than they did in the 70s and 80s. I want us to show the executives at 20th Century Fox, that we want to see these three ladies back together again, and we want to see a movie that expresses womens struggle in the workplace in this day and age. It has been 25 years and the sequel has been long overdue. Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, and Jane Fonda have expressed publicly that they would like to reunite to make this film. We should show our support for such a wonderful comedy that has such a great meaning on so many levels.

I love that movie so much and always thought a sequel would have been a great idea. It still is, and I bet that if they were to let them make a 9 to 5 two then it would be hottie than ever.

i think kelly pickler would do a good job at the dolly parton role if they were ever to do a remake with different actresses .... but the original cast will still be the best! :-)

I do believe the only way this movie should be made is if Dolly Parton Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin were the three that played in the movie....any other way just wouldn't be right or even be the same....So YES make the movie only if the original 3 Leading
