Mississippi State University should adopt men's soccer as a school sponsored NCAA Division I sport. Soccer has increased in popularity across our nation, and boys of the state of Mississippi should have the dream of playing for a local university, such as Mississippi State University. Mississippi State University should not cut a mens sport to add mens soccer in its place. This petition urges Mississippi State University to create a mens soccer team for the 2007 athletic season.
