Affirmative Action, originally created to provide more opportunities for minors, is no longer necessary in my opinion, and is actually hindering society. For one thing, we live in a society that wants to eliminate racism. How can we eliminate racism if race is still a factor in how we get jobs and get into college? For another thing, I believe there are better ways to regulate things to make sure racism is not preventing people from getting accepted. I believe a committee should be set up that randomly checks schools and businesses. I believe that the said committee should look at the applications at random and at those who are hired to make sure race wasn't a factor in the decision. But I do not believe that your race and/or sex should give you any special qualifications whether you are a caucasion male, or a minority female.

If you are in agreement with me, help me make a difference. Affirmative action should not be used today. Let's make a law that removes it.
