"We, the undersigned, Lovers of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) and His Holy Progeny (AS), ask that you to STOP showing the series, "Muawiyah, Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS)" with immediate effect.
To suggest that Muawiyah had no hatred for the Holy Imams (AS) is preposterous, and grossly inaccurate. As such, we consider it to be irresponsible broadcasting on your part, as well as a travesty against the Holy Ahlul Bayt (AS).
The Holy Personalities of Imam Ali (AS), Imam Hassan (AS), Imam Hussain (AS) and the Blessed Daughter of Imam Ali, H. Zainab (SA), are portrayed with their faces showing! This is EXTREMELY disrespectful, since They are the Family of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) whom you yourselves claim to respect and revere.
We have notified all relevant authorities of this gross misconduct, and will continue our protest until we are satisfied that the programme will be removed and banned from broadcast, and a public apology issued. "
