Since it was announced that nominations for the 2012 Olymic Flame carriers oponed, many people have expressed an interest in nominating PC DAVID RATHBAND. However, they are not able to do so due to the amount of private information that is required when nominating.
We, the undersigned, hereby express our profound wish to nominate PC David Rathband as a carrier of the Olympic Flame in his city of residence, Northumberland.
Since becoming the victim of a horrific shotgun attack in July 2010, PC David Rathband has given nothing less than pure inspiration and admiration to the nation and to have him take part in the iconic, once in a lifetime event would be a great testament to him.
