Dear Neopets Team:
I certainly understand the need to provide safety and security for the users on the Neopets game site. While some changes in recent security of links and pictures has been acceptable, your new policy of not allowing citizens of Neopia to have page counters in their shops to track how many visitors shop in their establishments is wrong. Restricting the use of graphics to allow only embed images that end in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, and .png formats disallows many page counters such as my current shop counter with Andale.com which can be seen at http://counters.honesty.com/cgi-bin/honesty-counter.cgi?df=gen.6994548.00000.
Please consider changing the policy regarding the use of other types of images, start hosting your own counters, or form a partnership with a reputable counter company, such as Andale.com, to offer counters for our shops and webpages within Neopia.
