Allow XBOX 360 to play With Keyboard and mouse

With the upcoming launch of the Microsoft console XBOX 360, i heard from several places that Microsoft will allow to plug in a keyboard and a mouse, but it will deactivate when playing games.
I thougt that is a great mistake and allow playing with those peripherials will help players to play with great acuracy with their favorite FPS games like HALO, Gears of War, etc..
I think that decision could be undertaken and they will allow us play with keyboard and mouse.
