We, the undersigned, are in agreement with the proposed amendment to the Texas Antiquities Code to allow the surface hunting, by permit, of artifacts on public waterways/creek shores/lake shores in Texas.
This amendment will save countless, misplaced artifacts from destruction each year, as well as set up a program in which both artifact collectors and archaeologists can work together in order to further the field of archaeology.
