No Child Left Behind are the words upon which our American public school system should function to meet the standards of educational excellence as established in the minds of Americans.

CONGRESS, for two years you have failed to rewrite this faulty law that you yourselves created. You fail to feel the urgency of the needs of the students in our public schools. We remind you that they rely on us in order to become educated and independent citizens able to meet all the challenges of a competitive global economy. Our job is to serve and protect. We demand you, as Congressional leaders, serve and protect our students.

WE demand that our government invest in its people through the advancement of parental and community involvement in supporting public education.

WE demand that our government invest in teacher training targeted to meet the needs of their own unique community of learners.

WE demand that standardized tests be used only as a piece of student and school assessments and that they be viewed in conjunction with other measures to fairly capture a student's or a school's strengths and needs.

WE demand Our United States Congress and President Obama authorize funding to bring struggling public schools up to the standards of satisfaction as established by the people of those communities to meet the needs of educationally deprived children.

WE believe that our local schools contribute significantly to our local economic growth.

WE believe that we all suffer when there are obstacles to any student achieving their full potential.

As Citizens of the United States of America, we recognize that it is in the best interest of our country to support a flourishing public education system and to that end, we dedicate our support.

WE, the undersigned People, Declare our request that you Honor the above stated Principles and use them as your guide in laying a foundation upon which to properly build a new No Child Left Behind act.
