Amiga Community concerns over OS 4.0 etc. to Amiga, Inc.

The goal of this petition is to show the level of support from the Amiga user community that exists for Amiga Inc. while at the same time trying to reinforce several concerns the community has at present.
Those signing this petition would like to express the following:
1) Amiga Inc.'s community base appears to be eroding, due in part to a lack of ability to obtain the current OS product, version 4.0. Unless a user already owns an AmigaOne machine (which is no longer in production) or obtains one used, one can not obtain and use the Amiga OS 4.0 product. We ask that Amiga Inc. provide more frequent updates on options that may be made available to us as interested customers. PowerPC is back in the news with systems like the PS3 running Yellow Dog Linux. We would like to see Amiga, Inc. benefiting as well from this trend.
2) We understand as a community that there may be some open legal disputes at this time slowing down efforts outlined in point #1. We would submit that without knowing all the details, that one thing is for certain, if Amiga, Inc. can not work through those issues quickly, its best window of opportunity for capturing a larger OS market will likely be lost.
3) While we as a community are excited at the announcement of an intended OS 5.0, we are concerned that Amiga, Inc. may be concentrating too much on the future at the expense of the present. When OS 5.0 does come out it would be beneficial for press releases to be able to speak of as large of a fervently loyal community existing as possible. Working out current barriers to OS 4.0's wider release is vital towards the goal of re-invigorating the community and the excitement people wish to experience using Amiga branded products.
