Ask Stephen Harper to recognize the Syrian National Council

The SNC has four members whom are Canadian citizens, and further represent the Syrian people from all ethnicities, religions and sects in their peaceful struggle against the failed dictatorship of Bashar Al Assad. I strongly believe that the Syrian National Council represents me as a Syrian Canadian. I ask you to officially recognize the Syrian National Council as the sole representative of the Syrian people. The current regime never represented the interest nor values of the Syrian people and will never deliver on my aspirations for a free and just society. With your backing the Syrian National Council can achieve an end to the human desecration being committed by the murderous Assad and his gangs, recognizing the dreams of thousands of Syrian Canadians for a democratic Syria, and positioning Canada at the forefront of recognizing peaceful and democratic change in Syria. We thank you for taking action in accouncing Canada's backing of the SNC.
