Ban MSN Chat Spectators

During 4th quarter 2003 MSN when to paid chat services reportedly to "protect and monitor" chatters, especially children, from predators. In making that decision MSN allowed "spectators" to observe the paid chatters. These "spectators" would not be able to interact - only observe. This has proved to be far from the truth. "Spectators" have adopted through free passports the most obscene nick-names by using paid nick-names and adding vulgarities, some examples;

[name]MolestsChildren





..and so on. The nick-names have become increasingly vulgar, and as you see, threatening. These spectators enter and leave the chat rooms at frequent and rapid rates in order to display the name multiple times, then continue on to the next attack.





Spectators cannot be placed on ignore, and they cannot be booted by a host. Many complaints have been placed with the MSN help-desk, and the response has been, "We are working on it." Recently, there has been removal of these spectators by Sysop, only for the spectator to return within minutes.





ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!





Fine for MSN to "work on it", in the meantime paid subscribers are subjected to this increasing dementia.





MSN MUST ban spectators NOW, or risk the loss of paid subscribers.
