Ban the incandescent light bulb in Canada

On April 25th 2007, the Canadian Government announced to the international community that it would ban the use of the incandescent light bulbs.
As of now, no concrete action has been taken in that regard. We are shocked and appalled that our government, renowned for its good standing as a global citizen, would retract from such a public announcement.
This petition is intended to serve as a reminder to public officials that the people of Canada do endorse actions in that direction and are expecting our government to follow-up on their word.
