We the undersigned United Fans of Alien Nation wish to express our concern over the absence of the Alien Nation television series from the Sci-Fi Channel's programming lineup.

As the Twenty-First Century brings us closer to becoming a global community we believe that programs such as Alien Nation, which explore cultural diversity and racial equality, are essential to the promotion and furtherization of such ideals.

Since the premiere of Alien Nation on the Fox television network on September 18, 1989 the science-fiction fandom community has been captivated by this show's unique perspective on important everyday issues. We believe that the viewership of the Sci-Fi Channel would benefit from the return of the Alien Nation television series.

In addition, the United Fans of Alien Nation believe that it would be in the best interest of the Sci-Fi Channel to mark the return of the Alien Nation series with a marathon of episodes, to be followed by a marathon of the made for television movies.
