We, fans and supporters of the character of Lena Kundera, portrayed by the very talented Olga Sosnovska, have bonded together to make some of our concerns known to ABC/All My Children regarding the lack of roots Lena has in the Pine Valley canvas. In addition, we only see a shadow of the former strong character that we hold so dear. Concurrently, we immensely enjoy the love and passion Lena displays towards Bianca, but in addition to this we wish to see her as a three-dimensional character.
We are thrilled and excited to hear that Olga Sosnovska has been signed to a long term contract. We have faith that All My Children consequently do this character justice and work towards preserving her longevity by weaving her more closely into the Pine Valley canvas. The latter can be achieved by providing Lena with a complete life with friends, a more visible job, perhaps even family at some point.
We would like to see a return of the strong Lena character, with the savvy, class, and intelligence. The many facets of this character are what makes her so interesting, engaging, and downright fun to watch as we have grown to love the character. We love this character not only because of her romance with Bianca, but for her strength and passion. It will be that same strength and passion mixed with love and understanding that will be needed to help Bianca heal and it will be Lena Kundera that should be standing next to Bianca Montgomery as the rape and possible pregnancy story unfolds, along with Bianca's family and friends. It will be her intelligence and business savvy that will be needed to uncover Michael Cambias business misdeeds and it will be her love for Bianca that will endear her to the other woman in Bianca's life Erica Kane.
We appeal to ABC and AMC to bring back to the screen the Lena Kundera the character that we have grown to love AND the Lena Kundera that Bianca Montgomery will need to face the demons she has right now and in the future as a loving couple.
