In 2001 Nintendo released a game called Conkers Bad fur day for the N64. Despite that it became a cult video game it had positive reviews and some people consider this to be the greatest video game ever made. Seeing how that the Wii VC is adding some new games to the Virtual Console there are many people who have the Wii and would love to play this game, but however its not on the Wii VC.
