Bring Howard Stern to Sirius Canada

Dear Mr. Redmond,

We the undersigned would like to buy into the notion of paying for radio, but your current 100 premium channel lineup is missing the key player that would turn us into converts, make us buy the special radio needed to obtain the Sirius service in Canada, and gladly pay the monthly $14.99 subscription fee.

We would like to see the addition of Howard Stern and his Howard 100 channel in Sirius Canadas lineup when it officially launches in the weeks to come.

Love him or leave him, Sterns radio antics are legend. His sense of potty humor aside, hes a major proponent for free speech, and his work has been praised by the likes of more respectable folk such as Jon Stewart and David Letterman.

We the undersigned are fans of Mr. Sterns show and are eager to hear what he has in store for this new medium when he makes his debut on Sirius in January 2006.

We also fear the exclusion of Mr. Sterns show would open up the gray market to some of his more rabid fans, diminishing the potential and future of satellite radio here in Canada.

We hope this petition will show you that Mr. Stern has a strong following in Canada, and that a number of Canadians would be willing to subscribe to Sirius Canada just to hear him.
