Broadcast the 2005 Giro d'Italia

Following close on the heels of your woefully weak and disdainful two-hour recap show broadcasted one-month after the Vuelta Espana 2004 race was completed, we held a glimmer of hope you would change your ways. But, your decision to NOT broadcast the Giro d'Italia in full, with same day coverage of each stage has reaffirmed our view that you are not interested in promoting the sport of cycling in the United States of America.
Many of us have searched for alternative views on this sport and have found abundant resources like webcasts on the Internet, satellite television and foreign language stations available through our cable providers.
It is true that you have posted a seemingly robust schedule of pro-cycling events coverage for the upcoming year in 2005. But to sidetrack two of the three Grand Tours is reprehensible.
May we remind you that we constitute a formidable economic base that pays attention to your sponsors advertisements. We have the monetary means of purchasing any and all items shown in your advertising spots. We can rally and protest your disregard of true pro-cycling coverage, more correctly, your lack of pro-cycling coverage.
We are also networked, for every one signature on this petition, there are 100 people we know who feel the same way and are in agreement with us. We wield a significant amount of leverage and influence.
The only true and satisfactory result is your restoring the Giro d'Italia to full same day coverage of each and every stage.
