BT to update their DNS to allow people to access new websites

To my knowledge this problem arose as early as May 2007, and phone conversations with BTs technical support staff lead me to beleive that they may continue as late as October.
The reason for this is given as "server migrations" being performed at BT. With a company of this size, any such operation should have a turnaround time in days, not months, and even then measures should be taken to ensure that customers will not be inconvenienced.
As the director of a website development and hosting company, BT have refused to provide me with any more details or assistance, and have asked to deal with the hundreds of people who cannot access sites directly. This is ridiculous for two reasons; firstly, how can I provide contact details for people who cannot even see the website, and even if I could, why would they want to go through hours talking to BT technical support? Secondly, from their point of view is it not easier to deal with one person who can explain the problem to them rather than hundreds or potentially thousands of people who are unsure of what the problem is?
By signing this petition, you are agreeing that you think you have been inconvenienced in some way by these distruptions. This does not necessarily mean you are a BT customer, you could be:
A website owner or someone in the business who has been affected (i.e. customers not able to access site)
A customer of BT who cannot get on certain sites
An ISP who leases from BT
etc
You also agree that the time period specified for these 'repairs' by a company the size of BT is unacceptable, neither are the measures taken to avoid distruption.
